1. Scope and Purpose
This Policy supplements the Terms and Conditions and forms an integral part of them. It applies to everyone who uses the Platform. Its purpose is to protect the trust of buyers and suppliers, fair competition between suppliers, and the integrity of the Platform and its users' data.
The Platform is not obliged to pre-screen content, but it may — without obligation — review any content or activity and take the measures set out in clause (7).
2. General Prohibitions (all users)
Users must not:
- Provide false or misleading information, impersonate any person, business or government body, or claim to represent a business without authority.
- Create multiple or fake accounts, use other people's accounts, sell, rent or share an account, or circumvent free offers, credits or limits set by the Platform.
- Publish or upload any content that:
- violates the laws, public order or public morals of the Kingdom;
- is abusive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory or inciting;
- infringes the intellectual property or privacy of others;
- contains third-party personal data without need or right.
- Spam — send bulk or unrelated messages through the Platform or using data obtained from it.
- Harvest or scrape data using crawlers, scrapers, scripts or any automated means to access the Platform, copy its content or collect its users' data — except search-engine indexing of public pages as permitted by the Platform.
- Upload files containing malware or harmful code, attempt unauthorized access to the Platform's systems or other accounts, test its vulnerabilities without prior written permission, or disrupt or overload it.
- Reverse-engineer the Platform, its apps or APIs, use it to build a competing service, or copy requests or quotes to other platforms.
- Bypass any security or technical measure, usage limit or data-access restriction.
3. Buyer-Specific Prohibitions
Buyers must not:
- Post fake requests or requests without genuine purchase intent, or requests intended to survey competitors' prices — including a supplier (or anyone on its behalf) posting requests as a buyer to learn competitors' prices.
- Use the Platform to collect quotes for resale or trading.
- Publish suppliers' quotes or their documents, or hand them to other suppliers with the intent of exposing the quoting supplier's prices or harming it.
- Request materials that are prohibited or restricted by law without the required licence.
- Repeatedly post the same request in a way that floods a category or misleads suppliers.
4. Supplier-Specific Prohibitions
Suppliers must not:
- Submit misleading quotes, including prices they do not intend to honour in order to lure the buyer, hidden fees or material terms, or quoting one brand and supplying another without disclosure.
- Offer counterfeit, adulterated or non-conforming materials that do not comply with Saudi standards and approved technical regulations.
- Quote on requests outside the scope of their licensed activity or the categories they are approved in.
- Coordinate with other suppliers on prices or terms, divide or rotate requests, agree to refrain from quoting, or engage in any practice restricting competition prohibited by the Competition Law.
- Attempt to learn competitors' quotes or infer them by any means, including fake accounts.
- Use buyer data for any purpose other than the buyer's request, sell or share it, or add it to marketing lists without the buyer's consent.
- Harass buyers, pressure them after they decline or close a request, or contact them inappropriately.
- Submit quotes through multiple accounts of the same business or related businesses to give the buyer a false impression of competition.
5. Uploaded Content and Automatic Reading
- Users must ensure that files and images they upload are free from malware and limited to what the request or quote requires.
- We recommend removing unnecessary personal data (such as individuals' names and phone numbers) from documents before uploading, as they may be processed automatically through service providers in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Automatic reading results are an assistive tool; the user remains responsible for reviewing everything published or sent in their name.
6. Reporting Violations
Any user may report a violating request, quote or account through the "Report" option on the Platform or the contact page. The Platform reviews reports at its discretion. Malicious reports are prohibited.
7. Measures on Violation
The Platform may — at its discretion, depending on the severity and repetition of the violation, and without prejudice to any other right — take one or more of the following measures:
- issue a warning;
- hide or delete the violating content;
- restrict account features (such as posting, quoting or viewing);
- suspend the account temporarily or terminate it permanently and prevent re-registration;
- forfeit credit or promotional benefits obtained through the violation;
- notify the competent authorities, including in matters of cybercrime, commercial fraud or competition;
- claim compensation for damage caused to the Platform or its users.
Taking one measure does not prevent taking another, and not taking a measure is not a waiver of it.
8. Amendments
The Platform may amend this Policy in accordance with the amendment provisions of the Terms and Conditions.
